Eligibility Requirements:

This is an open championship. There are no qualifying totals and/or competitions required to enter this championship. All lifters competing in the championship must be a member of USA Powerlifting. Membership cards will be available for purchase at registration prior to the start of the weigh-ins. Memberships to USA Powerlifting can now be purchased on-line here: www.usapowerlifting.com

     9:00 am to 12:00 pm – Lifting for all women’s weight classes (two flights)
     12:00 pm to 12:30 pm – Awards and Drug-testing

Session 2
     11:00 am to 12:30 pm – Weigh-in & registration for men’s weight classes 53kg to 74kg
     12:30 pm to 1:00 pm –  Rules briefing/Warm-up for all men’s weight classes 53kg to 74kg
     1:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Lifting for all men’s weight classes 53kg to 74kg weight classes (two flights)
     4:00 pm to 4:30 pm – Awards and Drug-testing

Session 1

    8:30am to 9:00am – Warm-up for men’s weight classes 83kg and 93kg
    9:00am to 12:00pm – Lifting for all men’s weight classes 83kg and 93kg
    12:00pm to 12:30pm – Awards and Drug-testing

Session 2
    12:00 pm to 1:30pm – Weigh-in  & registration for men’s weight classes 105kg to 120+kg
    1:30pm to 2:00pm – Rules briefing/Warm-up for all men’s weight classes 105kg to 120+kg
    2:00pm to 5:00pm – Lifting for all men’s weight classes 105kg to 120kg
    5:00pm to 5:30pm – Awards and Drug-testing
     

 Awards:

Awards will be presented to all 1st – 5th place finishers, for each weight class and division. Champion of Champion awards will be presented to the best overall male and female lifters for the championship for Bench Press Only, Deadlift Only, Push/Pull and Powerlifting competitions. The overall best lifters will be determined by the IPF formula. Awards will be presented to the 1st – 5th place teams.

Admission:

All spectators and coaches may enjoy the competition for an admission fee of $10.00 for the entire day. Contest programs and T-shirts will be available for an additional fee. 

ENTRY FEE (S):

$100.00 – Powerlifting Competition [Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift]
$100.00 – Combined Bench Press and Deadlift Competition [Push-Pull]
$85.00 – Bench Press Only Competition
$85.00 – Deadlift Only Competition
$35.00 – Each additional division entered (see above)
$100.00 – Team Entry Fee
$15.00 – Championship T-shirt [Small to Large]
$20.00 – Championship T-shirt [XL to XXXL]
$50.00 – Late Fee if competition entry form is after Friday, May 1, 2020

Registration Guidelines and Deadline:

Please take note of the entry form deadline – Friday, May 1, 2020. If your application/entry form is going to be late, you must notify the meet director either by email or telephone for confirmation to lift in the championship. The late fee will apply, regardless of the reason for the entry form is late. The late fee shall apply to everyone. There are NO refunds for any reason. Upon receipt of your entry form, all transactions are deemed final.


 

USA Powerlifting – Who We Are

USA Powerlifting (formerly American Drug Free Powerlifting Association, Inc.) is the leading powerlifting organization in the United States. USA Powerlifting is a member of the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF), the governing body of powerlifting internationally. The IPF is comprised of member federations of 100+ countries on six continents. USA Powerlifting, through its affiliation with the IPF, also sends a national team to participate in the World Games. The World Games is an international multi-sports event hosted by the International World Games Association (IWGA) that falls under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The event consists of official sports and demonstration sports selected from those not included in the Olympic Games. The Games are held every fourth year, following the year of the Summer Olympics.

The mission of Florida Powerlifting is to promote drug-free powerlifting competitions, training seminars, and fitness events throughout the State of Florida. Overall, our goal is to promote a healthy and active drug-free lifestyle that will encourage strength and fitness enthusiasts to compete at the local, national and international level. USA Powerlifting is proud that Florida Powerlifting is the only recognized and official representative for powerlifting in the State of Florida. Statewide competitions are open to all amateur athletes 8 years of age and higher.
